This is a really important matter, guidelines set by The Enironmental Agency regarding your Septic tank and if it discharges to watercoarse, if your septic tank does exactly this, by law you will need to replace or upgrade your system by 1st January 2020 or when you sell your property before this date. This is because discharges from septic tanks to a surface water are not allowed under general binding rules.
